HORSEBACK RIDING PROGRAMS
Pinewood Farm, LLC offers you a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow in a natural outdoor environment on a working family farm.  Sessions will be limited to a small number of riders to insure individualized attention.  The staff  is experienced people who have a real interest in seeing your child develop horsemanship skills in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.  It is our goal to provide opportunities to develop these skills through ground work, riding, mounted games and skill sessions.  Our indoor riding arena makes it possible to ride regardless of the weather so we will not cancel a scheduled activity

THREE or FIVE DAY CAMPS
The campers will ride each day.  Half of the time is spent with the horse learning how to lead, groom, saddle, bridle, mount and ride.  The other half is spent learning safety rules and practices, colors, face and leg markings, bathing, tack cleaning, parts of the horse, etc.  On the last day parents and friends are invited to a closing program.  The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. - Noon each day.  Riders should be 8 years and older.

WORKING’ & RIDIN’ at the STABLE
Have you ever cooked your dinner over a campfire, roasted marshmallows, eaten yummy S-Mores, and also had a chance to ride, ride, ride?  Here is your opportunity.  Arrive at 7:00 a.m. to help feed the horses and then make breakfast over the camp fire.  We will ride, have lunch, and ride once more before departing for home at 3:00 p.m.  Maximum number of people is 5.  Ages 10 and up.  Previous attendance at horsemanship camp or riding lessons is required.

SPEED EVENT CAMP
At this camp we will introduce you to some of the familiar speed events like Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and Speed & Action as well as some less familiar events.  Riders must be comfortable riding at a walk, trot and canter.  There will be a horse show on the last day.  This is going to be fun.  You will need approval by camp staff to attend.

TRICK or TREAT RIDES
Have you ever gone “trick or treating” on horseback?  We have.  You will use a “trick or treat” bag to hang on your saddle horn.  We will ride the trails and pick up treats along the way.  This is not a “trick.”  Really!!!  Call to make an appointment to try this great activity while enjoying the fall colors.  What could be more fun!  Prior attendance at camp or lessons is required.  Rides will take place during the month of October.

SCOUT TROOPS
